    Day 1CairoOn arrival in Cairo, you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel for overnight; the rest of the day is at leisure.

    Day 2CairoVisit The Egyptian Museum of antiquities where a vast treasure of numerous objects made of gold, bronze, alabaster, silver from Egypt's most glamorous times are exhibited including the new mummy room and the objects from the tomb of Tutankhamun. Continue to Old Cairo, the Coptic area of Cairo where the Romans constructed the fortress of Babylon. You will see the ruins of the fortress towers of the church of St. Mary, more commonly known as the Hanging Church. Have dinner on the Citadel Cruise along The Nile.

    Day 3SakkaraTour of The Pyramids of Giza, including the famous Sphinx and the museum, where the remains of the Solar Boat of Cheops are displayed. In the afternoon drive to Sakkara, the ancient "Necropolis" of the Old Kingdom's Capital. Visit other pyramids and tombs, including "The Step Pyramid", the oldest known Pyramid. In the evening, visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar, an Oriental Bazaar that goes back to the 10th century. Dinner is at a local restaurant.

    Day 4Tuna El GabalAfter breakfast, drive to El Minya (about 4 hours). Visit the city's site, including the great plain where Akhenaton received his divine inspiration to build his city. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then, proceed to Tuna El Gabal to see the tomb of Petosiris, Ibis catacombs & Isadora tomb (This tomb dates back to the 2nd century AD and belongs to Isadora, renowned for her beauty in the city of Hermopolis). Overnight in El Minya.

    Day 5Beni HassanDrive to Beni Hassan. Visit The Bakhet III tomb (Bakhet III was the Governor of the Oryx Nome), Khnumhotep tomb (Khnumhotep was a governor under Amenemhat III in the 12th dynasty) & Khety tomb (It belongs to a governor in the 11th dynasty). After lunch, drive to El Amarna. Visit the Northern tombs among them the Ahmose & Huya tombs.

    Day 6LuxorAfter breakfast, go on a full day tour of Dendara and Abydos temples. Abydos is the temple dedicated to the ancient Egyptian God Osiris and the Pharaoh Seti I. This temple contains some of Egypt's finest relief carvings including the Flower of Life symbol. Dendara, since the time of the old kingdom, has been revered as a center for the Goddess Hathor, Goddess of love, beauty and joy. In the evening, visit the Temple of Luxor built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the god Amun and see it's gigantic statues and obelisks. Dinner & overnight in Luxor.

    Day 7NairobiFull day tour of Luxor. Visit the East and West Bank monuments like Karnak Temples, Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings and and the Temple of Queen Hatshipsut daughter of Thutmosis I who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Century. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo, to connect with your flight to Nairobi.

    Day 8NairobiUpon early morning arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy an excursion to the historic Karen Blixen Museum and Bomas of Kenya tour. Later, enjoy dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.

    Day 9NairobiA full day excursion to the pre-historic Olorgasaillie site, 80 kms southwest of Nairobi. An important archaeological site discovered by Dr. Leakey. Observe the hard axes and stone tools believed to be made by Homo Erectus about half a million years ago. After a picnic lunch, return to hotel for overnight.

    Day 10Lake NakuruMorning visit to Kariandusi Pre-historic site en route to Nakuru. The site was discovered by Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey. See an unearthing obsidian and lava tools made by early people. From here, proceed to Nakuru. Visit Hyrax Hill Pre-historic site. Then, visit the Lanet Site at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

    Day 11Lake NaivashaDrive to Lake Naivasha - Hell's Gate National Park and walk through the Ol Njorowa Gorge. Observe the Fischer's Tower, 25 meters high made of volcanic lava. Walk to Central Tower. Have dinner by the lake and overnight at Lake Naivasha.
